Ronald Dupert Sr, 75, of Landisburg passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on February 16, 2026. Ron was born one of 16 children to the loving family of Charles and Florence (Smith) Dupert. He was a dedicated husband to Brenda (Barkley) for nearly 57 years and a devoted father to Roxanne Dupert-Frank, Jennifer (Dupert) Gallagher and Ronnie Dupert. Adored by his 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, he was deeply loved by many nieces, nephews and friends of the family who called him Pop and considered him their own family. Ron was known as the kindest, most generous man by all whose lives he touched.
Ron worked for nearly 30 years at Frog and Switch Manufacturing and retired from Purina Mills. Whether through quiet acts of kindness or dedicated service, Ron was a cherished member of his community. He was a former member of the Landisburg Lions Club, Landisburg Borough Council, Perry County EMS and a volunteer EMT with the Landisburg Ambulance Association.
He will be remembered by many for the large family card nights where so many family and friends gathered for a laugh, a cup of coffee, to get his advice and lose a game of cards to Pop. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday March 1st
from 2-5pm at the Carroll Township Community Center, 255 Church Rd, Shermans Dale, PA 17090. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ickesburg Lions Club for improvements to the park and playground.
