She loved country music, collecting photos of/from her family and friends, looked forward to getting cards and letters from friends and loved ones (via U.S. mail), and was a mother to all of her 6 children until the very end.
Shirley is survived by her 4 daughters: June, Robyn & Linda of Enola and Amanda (A.D. Dimopoulos) of Harrisburg, a son: Douglas of Mechanicsburg and her grand-daughter Maya Sidney Black of Newville. She also has many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years – George, as well as her first born son, Marshall.
Services will be at the convenience of her family and burial will be in the Enola Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
