Thomas J. Driscoll Jr.

Tom Driscoll, 77, died on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Camp Hill, PA.  Tom lived with his wife of 56 years, Ilene (Anderson) Driscoll.  Tom passed away peacefully in the Penn State Holy Spirit CVICU of COVID pneumonia with his wife and children by his side. 

He was proceeded in death by his parents Thomas J. Driscoll Sr. and Marguerite (Campbell) Driscoll from Turtle Creek, PA where Tom was born and raised. 

Tom is survived by his wife Ilene, sister Marguerite (Driscoll) Roberts from North Huntingdon, PA, son Tim Driscoll, daughter-in-law, Yolanda, daughter Michelle Truitt, son-in-law John, daughter Pam Blevins, son-in-law Jim, daughter Lin Hockley, son-in-law Chris.  Tom has four grandchildren, Jon Driscoll, Ellen Driscoll, Dominic Driscoll, and CJ Hockley and three great grandchildren Devin Driscoll, Grayson Driscoll and Ryder Driscoll. 

Tom started in the appliance and TV business in 1962 at Clabers Department Store where he met his wife on their first day of work.  Then worked for Kelly & Cohen which brought him and his family to Harrisburg, PA in 1972.  He worked for them until he opened his own store Thomas Appliance & TV in Enola, PA in 1977. 

Tom loved serving his community, the Lord and his family.  He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.  Tom could be seen wearing black and gold while watching a game or playing cards with his family.  He also liked to travel.  Tom would pack up the family in the car and the kids didn’t know what town they would wake up in.  Tom and Ilene also traveled around to several countries and took a cruise with good friends.
