Veronica M. Kanish passed away peacefully on March 17th at Homeland Center surrounded by her family.  She was born on January 5, 1933 in Williamstown Pa, and had attended Williamstown Catholic High School.  She was employed by General Accident Insurance Company for 28 years.  She was also a devoted Volunteer at Holy Spirit Hospital for over 16 years.  Veronica was also a PCCW member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her sister Marian Feaster of Williamstown Pa.  She is survived by her sister Mary Catherine Stakem and brother Thomas Sullivan, both of Mechanicsburg, and her husband of 52 years, Francis Kanish of Camp Hill; and her daughters, Mary Thornton of Camp Hill,  Patty Newsome of Texas,  Michele Kanish of Camp Hill, and her son Joseph Kanish of Hollidaysburg. She is also survived by a son-in-law Eric Thornton of Camp Hill, and daughter-in-law, Michele Hoffa-Kanish of Hollidaysburg.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Viewings will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 6-8PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home, Enola, and on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 10AM-11AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Enola.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11AM in her church.

Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
