Vickie L. (Warner) Weed, 62, of Mechanicsburg passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. She was born in Harrisburg Hospital, raised in the Shiremanstown / Mechanicsburg area and was the daughter of Alvin (deceased) and Gladys Warner.

Vickie graduated from Mechanicsburg high school in 1981. She then went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Albright College.

She and her husband Bob were married on August 22,1992. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Rob and Nicole. Vickie was a loving and caring mother and an outstanding life partner for Bob.

Professionally, Vickie spent her early years in the insurance industry. She served as an underwriter and later a field adjuster. While in the insurance business, Vickie earned her CPCU designation. Later, Vickie reinvented herself by going back to college and graduating with an associate degree in web-design. She started and successfully ran her own business – Nimble Mouse Design – for over seven years serving as a web designer, graphic artist and email marketing expert for several local and regional businesses.

Outside of work, Vickie was a devoted member of New Covenant Fellowship Church. She served as a deaconess for six years and was a volunteer and leader in many other activities / events. Vickie was an avid reader, loved the arts, spending time at the beach with family and taking care of her pets.

Vickie is survived by her husband Bob Weed, her daughter Nicole Weed, her son Rob Weed and his wife Amber Pierdinock-Weed, her mother Gladys Warner, and sisters Karen Bean and Cheryl Badali.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 31st at New Covenant Fellowship Church, 4500 Creekview Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m followed by a memorial service from 11:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m.
