Share Obituary!

Victoria “Vicky” Jean (Mundis) Kurtz, 77, of Enola, PA recently passed away. She was born on September 10, 1947, to Emory and Margaret (Reidell) Mundis.

She is survived by her son, Brian Kane (Valerie); her stepson Ronald Kurtz Jr. (Mary), and her “daughter” Nichole Heikel (James). She is also survived by grandchildren Kendall Kane (Reid), and Molly and Aidan Kurtz.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Ronald Kurtz Sr. and her son, Michael Kane, as well as two brothers Emory and Karl Mundis and sister Patricia Moore. Her remaining family and friends of which there were many find comfort knowing she’s been reunited with many whom she has missed dearly for many years.

Vicky retired from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 751 of Enola, PA and The Enola Sportsman’s Club. She had taken up golf later in life, which she enjoyed almost as much as shopping. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling where she met her husband ‘Ron’ in an ‘alley’ as he told it. She had many friends, and she was a fierce protector of those she loved. She will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Sullivan’s Funeral Home of Enola, PA.  There will be a graveside service on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM Those who wish to attend should gather at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens at 4855 Londonderry Rd, Harrisburg, PA. The gravesite is located up a slight hill as you enter through the main entrance of the cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the Enola American Legion following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
