Yolanda Pazzano, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born May 5, 1932, in Mammola, RC, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Carmela Gulluni and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vincenzo, devoted son, Nick and oldest brother Nicodemo. Other deceased and dearly missed family members include M. Teresina Rinaldis and Giuseppe Rinaldis.
Yolanda spent her career as an expert tailor for various men’s clothing stores, including Doutrich and Kuppenheimer. Surviving her are her brother, Gennaro Gulluni and family, daughters Rita (Patrick) Taylor and Carmela Scamardella, grandchildren, Brian (Natalie) Taylor, Kevin (Lindsey) Taylor, Vincenso Pazzano, Laura, Maria, Sofia and Nico Scamardella and great grandson, Luca Taylor. Other surviving family members include Elvira Rinaldis, who was like a sister to her, Elvira’s daughters and their families.
Yolanda was an amazingly compassionate and caring person. Her love for her family, friends and those she met was evident in everything she said and did. She never missed an opportunity to provide a warm smile, tender hug, kind word and helping hand anywhere it was needed. Always putting others first, she was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew her.
A viewing will be held at St. Catherine Labouré Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am with burial immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Catherine Labouré Church.
