  1. Aunt Carol was what I would call Gods gift to nieces and nephews! Being around Aunt Carol and Uncle Butch was like therapy! The times Barb and I traveled east, we always made sure we spent a couple of days with them and they always made us feel like we were home!No WiFi, no cell phone service, just great quality time together! Days were spent sitting watching birds at the birdfeeder, going into Ollies which Aunt Carol and Barbara really enjoyed and evening spent watching the deer in their back yard and then time to watch TV! Aunt Carol always had multiple choices of chips, snacks, ice cream and candy dishes around the house!!
We loved buying Aunt Carol Mums from the Amish Market along Route 15 and I’ll never forget Aunt Carol telling me “Butch Hile now you go outsides and plant them!! I told you not to bring anymore flowers”
I am so going to miss our weekly phone calls and hearing all about the grandchildren and great grandchildren who she was so very proud of and loved so very much!!
I could go on and on but it is hard to think that there will be no more phone calls but she will forever be in my heart and mind as are all my Aunts And Uncles along with Momma and Dad and Debbie!!
    I love you Aunt Carol

This what sent to Rod!, do you think it is ok

  2. My Aunt Carol was the Best! I would talk to her almost every week. Back in December she gave me a list of her family, making sure I had her mom and dad and siblings dates of births and deaths. She would share so much family information with me. When Karen and I would travel from VA to PA to see her she would always have lunch ready for us and always made sure she had a bag of our favorite chips there. Two summers ago my dads sisters picked me up in Baltimore and we stopped in to see Aunt Carol we ended up staying 5 hours and to this day aunt Carol, Jan and Marge and I all say that was such a great visit. ( yes Aunt Carol got out candy) For years I use to send her Elvis stuff for Christmas ( she use to Love Elvis), I stopped when she said “save your money I have more Elvis stuff than I know what to do”. When she would go hunting she would call me from her tree stand and give me up dates on who got what. Every time a new great grandchild was born she would call to let me know. I’m sure going to miss you and our conversations Aunt Carol. I know you’re in a better place and having a big Family Reunion in Heaven. Give them a big hug from me. Till we meet again. Love Brenda

  3. My Aunt Carol was the absolute best. I loved her so much. Didn’t get to visit nearly as much as I wanted.
I spent summers with them and always had the best time with all of them.

Family was always so important to Aunt Carol. She made sure that all of us cousins had a “Family Tree” to contact and keep in touch with each other.

While we will miss the opportunities to see her again here on earth, I know I will see her again in heaven gathered with all our loved ones that have gone before.

    I love you Aunt Carol!

  4. Some of my favorite memories are of visiting with Aunt Carol when I came up from TX – and she and I would go shopping at Ollie’s and go to Pizza Hut for their buffet. Just the two of us. I am so glad that we were able to visit with Carol and Walt (Uncle Butch) when we were up in August. Will always miss you Aunt Carol. Please give Cindy, Mom, and everyone else a hug from me.
