Charles C. Dell, 95, of West Fairview, PA, passed away on December 21, 2022. He was born December 25, 1926 to the late William and Mary (Kerlin) Dell. He was husband to the late Joanne C. Dell.
Charles is survived by his children, Cathy Chorpenning, Christie Harner and husband Tony, and Charles W. Dell, 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his 2 sisters.
Charles was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was the proud last founding father of the West Fairview American Legion, Post 984.
Charles worked at the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg, PA, and worked at Harner’s Bakery in the Carlisle Farmers Market and West Shore Farmers Market.
A viewing will be held on January 4, 2023, from 10 to 11 am at Sullivan Funeral Home in Enola, PA.
Burial will be in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the viewing.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Legion Post 984 or Wounded Warrior of Camp Hill, PA.
