Dorothy (Dottie) Louise Hall of Enola passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 8, 2019 at her home. Born July 11, 1953 in Texas City, Texas she was the daughter of the late Charles Leo Buchanan and Helen (Brown) Buchanan.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years Charles E. (Charley)Hall, son Marc and his Fiancée Venetia Stephenson, Mother Helen (Brown) Buchanan of Tioga Louisiana, sister Barbara Kokemor of Missouri and several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in Death by her Father Charles Leo (Buck) Buchanan of Pineville, Louisiana, a Sister Marilyn K. Vaughn of Shelbyville, Texas, and a Brother Charles (Charley) Ellis Buchanan of Pineville, Louisiana.
Dottie was a 1971 Graduate of Tioga High School in Tioga, Louisiana.
Dottie worked as an Administrative Assistant for ITS in Mechanicsburg until her retirement in August of this year.
Dottie was a member of the Cumberland County Republican Committee and served as a Committee Woman in East Pennsboro’s Second Precinct for 15 yrs. She was a member and current Second Vice President of the Cumberland County Council of Republican Women, and a past Officer of the East Pennsboro Republican Association.
Dottie was the consummate family person always putting her family first over herself and since her retirement enjoyed working around the house and taking care of everyone full time. She enjoyed doing embroidery, reading, and researching the Internet.
A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday November 14, 2019 at the Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 22 Salt Road, Enola PA 17025.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon at the Church with a lunch following the Service.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to the Church.

Dottie was such a beautiful soul. Caring and giving. Gentile and loving. She was always there for anybody in need. I was fortunate enough to spend Wednesday evening with Dottie and Charlie. I will miss her immensely. God bless, Dottie! Your light will shine on forever!
