I will always remember Doug as a fellow classmate who was kind hearted and loved his family and friends. My Deepest Condolences to the Family. RIP Doug
Doug had a great sense of humor. I was in a few classes with Doug throughout our High School years. In 10th grade, one class was on the lower floor, and we had a sub this particular day. We (those of us that liked to clown around) always sat in the back and Doug and 1 other guy jumped out the windows. Next thing you know there is a knock at the door. The sub answered the door and there stood Doug and the other guy. She had this look on her face that was like, didn’t I just see you in class. Those of us in the back were dying laughing. She had no clue how they got out of class. There are many other memories that I will cherish. He will be greatly missed.
So very sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. Your whole family is one of my cherished memories of being with Mike. I pray for strength from God for you all and Peace in your hearts. Love you all.
We remember Doug well from school and saw him at class reunions. I think he lived beside my (Beth) best friend, Mel Dennis (Miller), while growing up (I still miss her) in Possum Hollow. Sorry to hear we lost another classmate. He was a nice person. Our deepest sympathy to his family.
Rest In Peace Doug…
