Frederick M. Oppel, 82, of Enola passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
Born in McVeytown, PA on April 20,1941, he was the son of the late Howard and Hilda (Ramsey) Oppel.
He was the owner of F.M. Oppel Heating Oil and Water. Fred was a member of Enola First Church of God, a board member of Northeast Fire and Rescue Fire Company, and was a former treasurer of the Dauphin County Beekeepers Assn.
Surviving is his wife, Denise; a daughter, Jennifer “J” Braddock (Bill); 3 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter; and a sister, Carol Sebastian (Servando) and their children, Jeffrey, Stephanie, and Corinna.
Viewings will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 5PM-8PM at Enola First Church of God, Enola PA and on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 10AM-11AM at the church.
Services will begin at 11AM on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the church.
Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Fred’s memory to the Northeast Fire and Rescue Fire Company or Enola First Church of God Church.
