
George D. Faraguna, 94, of Enola, (West Fairview) PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from the loving hands of his family to God. George was a part of the greatest generation, who served his country then lived a life of quiet dignity all while setting an example of grace and respect for his sons and grandsons. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all.
Born in Shamokin, PA, he is the second of seven children of the late Joseph and Jennie Faraguna. George is predeceased by his wife Arlene M. Faraguna and sisters Vera Havertine, Mitzie Faraguna and Anna Faraguna. He is survived by two sons, Stephen R. Faraguna and wife Susan of Camp Hill, and Michael J. Faraguna, and wife Susan of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Joseph and George Faraguna both of Tampa, FL; one brother, John Faraguna of Shamokin, PA and two sisters, Jane Kosmer of Middletown, PA and Ginger Kelly of Shamokin, PA.
A public graveside service will be held September 19 at 11am at Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill, PA.
George was an avid outdoorsman and trout fisherman who enjoyed volunteering to help stock local streams. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate in George’s name to the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited, at www.patrout.org/donate.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle George. He was a great man and lived a full life with grace. We are sad to miss the service on Wednesday, as I will be in Boston on business. Our sympathies to you and the family.
