I love you man !! You ment the world to me. You and Joanne taking me to rehab . You helping me at Nino’s all the time. I didn’t know you left this earth. I came up looking for you. I was sick for some time. Now I know you’re gone , but not forgotten. You will always be in my heart.
Oh my goodness, I received Harold’s Christmas card returned mail and my heart sank. You do not realize how much time has passed that you have not spoken to someone until you read a friend’s obituary of their passing. I am so sorry to hear that he is no longer with us and that I missed his service. Harold was such a gentle soul and a wonderful person. Their hospitality at the river house was exceptional as was their plumbing service. Condolences to the family and rest in peace my friend
Just heard of your passing today. The world lost a bright light when it lost you. Such a fun loving, hardy soul. I am sure that JoAnne was there to welcome you with open arms. You will be dearly missed.
I worked for Harold and his company for two summers home from college. All started from a friend of mine telling me he needed help with a side job that a man needed done. I was in need of a job with no luck, but not expecting one from this. Meeting Harold for the first time that evening, we talked and must have seen something special in me. My friend said he took an unusual liking to me. Took a huge risk and hired me full time. Little did I know I would have so many great memories with him. He was one of the best men I ever had the privilege of knowing and set the bar as a mentor for me as a young man.
When my daughter was 11 Harold told her the spaceships were coming for her, he proceeded to make her an elaborate foil hat so she could be safe from the spaceships. You really had to be there but he loved all children like they were his own. Never a dull moment with Harold.
Harold and I did some art shows together. Met him at his sister Peggy’s house about 40 years ago and remained friends ever since. He surely will be missed! Hoping your at peace
