Jean M. Jama, 72, of Camp Hill died December 27, 2018 in her home after a 12 month illness.

She retired from Highmark and Empire Blue Cross. Born on December 12, 1946 in Bethlehem, PA.

She was the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Marie (Knechel) Lerch.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Edwin M. Lerch. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Joseph Jama; a son Gregory and his wife Amy of Lewisberry; a son Gary and his wife Michelle of New Cumberland; granddaughters, Caitlin Jama, Lauren Jama, Sydney Jama and Kennedy O’Brien.

Jean and her husband met in Liberty High School, Bethlehem. They loved to travel, visiting more than 30 countries and traveled across the U.S. in a motorhome.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes, 225 Salt Road, Enola on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 10 AM.  Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1313 South York Street, Mechanicsburg.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Jama family.
