Jeffrey L. Suter, born in Harrisburg, PA on August 30, 2004, beloved son, brother, grandson, teammate, and friend passed from this life on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the age of 18. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Linda Suter, his sisters, Gina Gabel and Emma Suter, his grandparents, Richard and Juanita Raudabaugh and Bruce Berry Sr., as well as many more family members and friends.
Jeffrey, a senior at Bishop McDevitt High School, was kind-hearted, intelligent, well-traveled and he loved adventure. A proud brother to both his sisters, Jeffrey was a self-proclaimed Mommy’s boy. Jeffrey was well known throughout his community as a talented soccer player. During his high school career, he dedicated himself to becoming the best player he could possibly be and was determined to turn his dreams of playing college soccer, while studying business, into reality. Jeffrey was an early commit and signed to play with the Drew University Rangers. When he wasn’t playing soccer, he was volunteering his time with St. Francis Assisi Soup Kitchen. He had a smile that would light up a room, loved playing pranks and telling jokes and loved spending time with his friends.
Jeffrey’s sudden death was a shock to everyone who knew him. He was happy, healthy and had his entire life ahead of him. Let his death be a reminder that life is precious and can be taken from us at any time. We should all cherish the moments we have with our loved ones and never take them for granted.
