Johnathian “John” Richard Myers, age 40, of Enola passed away Tuesday November 16, 2021 at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center. Born in Harrisburg in 1981, he was the son of Dorothy J. Weidenhammer and Robert K. Myers and a graduate of East Pennsboro High School.
Having been an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for over 10 years, John devoted his life to helping and healing others. He knew how to comfort people in their time of need. His calming and soothing nature helped worried patients and families get through difficult times. As a life member of Enola Fire Company No. 3, “Midway Fire Company” John started running fire calls at the age of 14.
He was an avid sportsman who loved and collected guns. John enjoyed shooting with friends and family as well as teaching the importance of gun safety.
Throughout his life, John strove to bring joy and happiness to all his many friends and family members. He will be fondly remembered as a caring and giving person, and his memory will live on in the minds of the numerous people whose lives he has touched.
John is survived by his mother, Dorothy Weidenhammer, his father, Robert Myers, his brother, Jimmy Myers, Aunts, Uncle, Cousins, Niece, Nephews and his beloved, Holly Engle.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Midway Fire Co. #2, 17 E. Manor Ave., Enola, PA 17025 from 3pm to 5pm and a Celebration of his Life at 5pm.

John was the perfect fit for our family and he will be greatly missed. He made every family gathering fun and we always enjoyed shooting guns with him.

We met John for the first time at Eric and Katies. Sylvia and I both thought that John was a wonderful guy. John was definitely smitten with Holly it was very easy to see the love between them.
