Dear Jude, 24 and there’s so much more we could be sharing with you. You are dearly loved and missed. Thinking of you especially today. Happy Birthday Dear heart- 24 today.
I’ll never forget the summer you came back from your dad’s and passed on to me your cousins old Gameboy and DS games. That kindness and generosity was unfathomable to me at the time, and still amazes me to this day. Our lives took pretty different paths after that summer and I don’t remember seeing you much after that. As regrettable as that maybe, being able to know you at all was a gift. You’re never gonna leave my mind Jude. All that laughing, crying, and screaming we shared went farther than you could ever know. I’ll miss you forever man.
Love, Giovanni
When I met Jude, he had the largest collection of fedoras I had ever seen! His joy in all things was contagious. He LOVED music! I will never forget watching him perform in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and sing in his school chorus. Jude was also very serious about his time in JROTC and the award he was given for outstanding work. Sometimes he talked about joining the military. He and his dad (David Tarlecki) enjoyed writing songs together, Jude loved the beats! He had a very special relationship with God. Jude could be found carrying his bible and rosary beads. Among my memories was the summer that he went to Camp Manatawny. He came home with a new appreciation for air conditioning and bug spray! I could write on and on about his love for his sisters Mary Jane, Maddie and Bella because he could go on and on about them. My dear stepson, I will miss you beyond words.
jude, everyday i think about and cherish how many laughs we shared but also remember the tears we shed. we’ve been through the most. i wish we could have had more conversations about what we experienced and what we saw. there are so many things you and i did together and lived through together. i’ll never forget the times i made you physically pee yourself from laughing just from making some stupid noise that you thought was the funniest thing in the world. i still do it to this day and every time someone laughs about it i hear you. i hear you brother. i’m not a fuck up. i hear you. and i’m ready to hear more.
never goodbye because i WILL see you again. i love you more than you could have ever comprehended.
love, your insane little sister, bella
