
Lena G. Berrier of Enola, PA passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at West Shore Hospital in Mechanicsburg, PA. Lena was born on September 1, 1927, in Perulack, Juniata County to the late Samuel and Mary Blanch (Locke) Linn. She was a 1945 graduate of Juniata Joint High School of which she was very proud of accomplishing. She was the only daughter to graduate due to having bus service put into place at that time. Lena grew up on a dairy farm. She would get up at 4am to milk cows and then catch the bus to school. She was a full-time homemaker that kept an immaculate home. She was an excellent cook, especially her custard and apple pies, which were the highlight of many family gatherings. Lena was a devoted Christian, and her faith was steadfast until her last breath was taken.
She is survived by three daughters: Peggy (Dick) Morrett of Lebanon; Patsy (Terry) Sola of Enola, and Debbie (Dave) Tyson of Enola. Also, Seven grandchildren: Laura (Gene) Rank of Lebanon, Susie (Steve) Daily of Lancaster, Michael (Ann) Sola of Camp Hill, Mark Morrett of Dover, Jennifer Christopher of Carlisle, Kristina (Jeff) of Lemoyne, and Michelle Mumma of Enola. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and four great-great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Lena was preceded in death by the love of her life, Harold (Bud) N. Berrier. They were an inseparable couple, married on September 17, 1946, which marriage endured for 64 years until his passing in 2008. They dedicated their lives to each other and to their family. She was also preceded in death by her five brothers and five sisters.
Lena will be deeply missed by her family. Her most sincere wish was thar her family would follow the way of the Lord.
Her visitation and services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at River of God Church, 747 Wertzville Road, Enola, PA 17025 with visitation at 10am and the service at 11am.
She will be laid to rest by her family at a later time along with her husband in the Enola Cemetery.

You will always be my favorite old girl I can still hear you saying Jenny and you never forgot my voice like I’ll never forget the way you called for me . You sure did that a lot the last year of your life and you will remain just as you once were . You’re in heaven now with the love of your life and we all know that’s where you wanted to be once Pappy passed . Ily Old Girl .

Happy Birthday mom, September 1st was always a big celebration for you, would have been 97 today, you sure gave a good try for making it to 100.
I will always have the memories of Easter Sunday in the basement family pictures on the steps, soo much food, love and laughs to remember 30 years later. Nanny B I pray u are finally happy and at peace with Pap. You will be missed. Ty and love u😇❤🙏
