Lewis Stewart Gerhart Jr., 59, of Enola, PA, passed away Thursday, February 3rd, at his home.
Lewis was born on January 24th, 1963 in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Lewis Gerhart.
He is survived by his mother Masako Gerhart. Surviving in addition to his mother are his brothers: Edward Gerhart, Robert Gerhart and his wife Melissa; his nephew and niece: Hannah and Connor.
Lewis was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in Charleston, South Carolina aboard the Destroyer U.S.S. Dewey: DDG45. After serving his country, he went on to work and retired from Ships Parts Control Center Naval base in Mechanicsburg.
His main interests were astronomy, photography, as well as sci-fi.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday the 9th from 10 am to 11 am at Sullivan Funeral Home in Enola, PA where a funeral service will immediately follow.
Burial will be at Perry Heights Cemetery in Marysville.
