Marie (Jones) Shade passed away on October 17, 2018. She was a graduate of Danville High School. Born in Kulpmont, PA she met and married Ralph Shade.

She is surrounded in love by her daughter, Jennifer Shade. Granddaughter, Darian E. McCoy and Great-granddaughter, Riley M. McCoy. Predeceased in death by her husband, mother and father, Howard and Teresa Jones, Brothers: George Jones, Howard Jones, Jr., Robert Jones, Arthur Jones, Sr and nephew Arthur F. Jones Jr.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and more. She took pride in participating on all levels over decades. Anyone that knew Marie, knew that she was not afraid speak her mind.

Just recently found out that Marie has passed away. I met Marie when she was so gracious to take in her nephew Art when he needed someone the most. She was always there to lend a helping hand and was a big part of his life. She always had an opinion but she possessed a huge heart. I always enjoyed talking to Marie and she will be missed by many.
Marie was a nice woman I love talking to her and she was always friendly and polite she will be missed.
You will always remembered for all of your talents and the little giggle you would give. As the nut lady, from the VFW Auxiliary, always there for our Military, first to donate to wakes of Member’s and friends who passed and a friend to all.
Your days have come to an end here on earth but your journey is just beginning.
May your legacy be know to your family of the kind and caring person you were.
Happy Trails to you.
To Marie’s family.
While I didn’t know Marie as long as some, she was a good friend. Generous with her time and her giving. I’m so sorry that we didn’t know of her passing until last night, and that we missed her celebration of life. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
