  1. I grew up with Mary Kay as a part of my extended family. Mary Kay was always cheerful and upbeat despite having to deal with some very difficult personal circumstances. My sister, Cheryl, liked to hang out with her and they always had a blast together. Mary Kay was also quite an accomplished equestrian and impressive competitive swimmer: two not-so-common talents. I am blessed to have known her and I rejoice that she is now with our Lord.
