Mike and I attended the Adirondack Mountain School together and became fast friends both at school and at home in Baltimore. We shared many adventures, got in a little trouble together and always had each other’s backs. We reconnected a few years before he passed and it was as if little time had gone by since we last saw each other. That’s real friendship! I will always miss my buddy and wish him well!
“God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes
and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:3,4)
My memories of Mike go back to his childhood and times spent with him and his family camping in Maine, Deep Creek Lake, the Mink Farm or just playing with neighbors in Original Northwood. The last time we were together was at Jon’s wedding on the PA farm. We wish his family peace.
Mike was our ringleader in the Elgin-Baltimore cousin adventures, which occurred annually for many of my childhood years. Thanks, Mike, for your adventuresome spirit. Love to the family.
