
Nancy D. Benoist passed away November 20, 2022 at West Shore Hospital. She was born on May 16th, 1936 to Austin and Ruth Ritter. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Benoist, her parents, and her Grandson Daniel Benoist. Nancy spent the last year and half at Kinkora Pythian Home.
Nancy retired from Highmark as an administrative dental specialist. She and Jack spent 15 winters in Port Charlotte, Florida and summers at Hidden Valley campground in Mifflinburg, PA. Nancy was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Enola.
Nancy is survived by a daughter, Susan Benoist Crossland and her husband Dale of Enola and grandson Steven of Enola. Son Ken and his wife Lisa of Mechanicsburg, PA. Grandson David and his wife Regina, and grandchildren Zachary and Anberlin Benoist of Mechanicsburg, Brother James Ritter and his wife Brenda of Enola, and Brother David Ritter and his wife Lois of Lewisberry, PA.
The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements for Nancy are entrusted to Sullivan Funeral Home of Enola.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Humane Society of Harrisburg or the Kinkora Pythian Home, 25 Cove Rd, Duncannon, PA 17020.
The family would also like to extend a warm Thank You to the Kinkora Pythian Home for taking such wonderful care of our mom. She made so many friends from nurses to residents there. And a very special thank you to Lynn (such a wonderful friend to mom).

How blessed I was to have you and Jack in my life. I will always be eternally grateful to both of you for opening your home and your hearts to me. You will be missed sorely, but no more pain. Alas you are reunited with the love of your life! Rest in peace.
