Peggy C. Brownawell, 61, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was born on October 31, 1959, in Frostburg, MD, to the late Margaret V. (Lease) and James E. Walker. She is survived by her loving husband, Tracy L. Brownawell.
Peggy is survived in addition to her husband by her son, Shawn Walker of Pennsylvania; her step-son, Dustin Brownawell of Pennsylvania; her sisters, Barbara Peyton of Georgia, Jeannie Gibson of North Carolina, Gail Snyder of Maryland, and Mary Beth Johnson of Michigan; and her grandson, Kaden of Pennsylvania.
Peggy was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her grandmother, Ethel Pearl Lease; and her sisters, Linda Nuttal, Bonnie Willey, and Patti Walker.
Peggy worked as a Personal Care Aid at Country Meadows. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 751 in Enola, PA.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy’s memory to Hospice of Central PA.
