Rachel “Alana” Kennedy Wright passed away on September 1 from complications of epilepsy at the age of 46. They were predeceased by their father, William Wright in 1999 and aunt, Sherry Wright. They are survived by their spouse, Joscelin Lamar, mother, Karen Wright, sister, Virginia Border (Scott), grandmother, Virginia Swartz, uncles, Frank Wright and Jesse Swartz and twin nephews. They graduated from Cedar Cliff High School and Penn State Harrisburg and received their masters in Information Systems from Shippensburg University. They worked at PHEAA for 23 years prior to serious health issues.
Alana will be remembered as a kind and generous person who always was there to lend a helping hand. They were a member of the SCA and enjoyed many aspects of the historical organization. They will be sadly missed by everyone who loved them.
Visitation will be at Sullivan Funeral Home, 51 N. Enola Dr., Enola, PA 17025 on September 23 from 12-1 PM with service to follow. Memorial gifts may be given to the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania, 919 Walnut St., Unit 700, Philadelphia, PA 19107 or New Hope Ministries, PO Box 448, 99 West Church St., Dillsburg, PA 17019.
