Ray L. Stambaugh, 72, of Enola, passed away at home on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Ray was born on May 30, 1952 to Irvin Stambaugh Sr. and Thelma (Dallmyer)

Stambaugh. After Ray graduated from East Pennsboro High School in 1970, he went on to study at a university in Washington DC.

He embarked on a 45-year career in commercial construction, starting as an apprentice carpenter for Union Local 431, a master carpenter, a project foreman, a well renowned project superintendent, and in 2018 retired from AH Butz. Ray

supervised large scale commercial construction projects at the State Capital Building, Hershey Foods, Dickson University, Penn State University, Kutztown University, amongst many others.

After retirement, Ray happily spent his time with his wife, Paula, and their dog,

Gunnar. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening, home projects, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Brownstone Masonic Lodge and a 32nd degree Mason, the Enola Sportsman’s Club, Sons of The American Legion

Enola, and the Kutztown Fire Company.

Ray is survived by his loving wife Paula, brother Irv (wife Billie), son Michael, daughter Andrea, stepdaughters Jennifer (husband Joel), Christa (husband Keith), and Glenda (husband Terry), and 9 grandchildren.

Services will be held at The Enola Sportsman’s Club on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 12:00 noon.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Saint Jude’s Hospital for Children.

I enjoyed every moment I spent with him, the laughs, the jokes, the stories, and the tears. I will miss him very much. I pray for comfort for you. May God Bless You!
