William David “Dave” Damsky, 76, entered into the arms of his Lord & Savior surrounded by his family and furry best friend Tanner, at his home, September 23, 2023. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Dave was a loving husband and father who was always eager to lend a helping hand. Dave served in the United States Navy and retired after a long career with Bell Telephone/Verizon.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Roxanne Damsky; His children: Brian Damsky (Julie); Jennifer Yashinski (Greg); Janelle Witters (Brett); and one grandson, Logan Damsky, who was the light of his life.
A private military service for immediate family will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania.
The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Damsky family.

Long time friend with whom shared a lot of good times! Missed already.
Dave was a great friend . The few years that I knew him he always had wise words to impart . He was a positive person who tried to keep the light on. Will be missed but not forgotten. Rest in Peace. Love to all his family and friends.
I got to know Fave through Brian marring my Daughter Julie. He was a kind gentle man. He sure did Love his grandson Logan. He will surely be Missed. May he test in Peace.
Dave, Was a loving cousin and good friend. I enjoyed all our talks. He was there for be whenever I needed to talk. The joy he gave me. Was taking care of his Dad when he was so sick a the end. I wish I could have been there for all of you. I love you all.
